FAA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support
and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator

This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to recognise and treat someone who has suffered cardiac arrest. The use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) has been shown to greatly improve outcomes for casualties in need of life-saving care. As AEDs become more widely available in public areas and workplaces, this training is becoming increasingly important. This qualification is primarily intended for those who have a first aid responsibility at work or are involved in voluntary and community activities and have access to an AED.
